Province of Camana

The central territory of Arequipa is located here. During the pre Hispanic era, cultures like the Nazca, Paracas, Waris, Collaguas, Chuquibambas, and Incas lived in this pleasant valley. In 1539, the city of Camana was founded under the mane of “Villa Hermosa de Camana” (beautiful Villa of Camana)
